                                   Date: Saturday, August 7, 2010

Time:  Staging starts at 9:AM and wheels roll at 10:30 AM

Staging Area: Michigan Viet Nam Memorial in Lansing, Mi.

LZ: Hastings Airport, Hastings, Mi.-Arrival time approximately 12:Noon.  Activities end around 5:PM.

The Memorial / Staging area is located between the streets of Ottawa and Allegan in Lansing, Michigan.  (if you google a map of the Capitol area you should get a pretty good picture of how to enter. Also-we will have riders stationed in the area to help direct you in)

The route will be basically M43 into Hastings, Michigan starting off with a loop around the Michigan State Capitol Building. Then to M43 under FULL LAW ENFORCEMENT ESCORT to the LZ with a slight detour (in planning stage) into Grand Ledge to pay tribute to those at the Grand Ledge Armoury.

There many details to attend to at this point but the frame work is coming along very nicely.  Next Years Vietnam Legacy Ride and Event is promising to be a very special one with activities planned at Hastings Airport to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of those over there-being told to "Come Home".

PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS!
